Uzushio Cruise

On the Uzushio Cruise, you can view one of the world's largest whirling tides up close. A massive 20 meters in diameter, the Naruto Straight's whirling tide is a true sight to behold. Kaiyukan Aquarium

One of the world's largest aquariums, Kaiyukan is home to 30,000 creatures covering 620 species. It carries 14 tanks recreating the habitats of the regions surrounding the Pacific Ocean, in addition to a giant central tank that houses whale sharks, the largest species of fish in the world. Based on a concept combining the Ring of Fire, which encircles the Pacific Ocean, and the Ring of Life, which is home to a plethora of living organisms, the aquarium has tried to recreate as faithfully as possible the environments of the natural world. In March of 2013, the popular New Kaiyukan space was opened as an interactive exhibit where guests can not only see the aquarium's creatures up close but also hear, touch, and smell them in person.
